It's worth noting that since the ET9 has not yet been officially launched, some specific parameters may be subject to change.
The ET9 overall adheres to NIO's family design style. The front of the car appears wide and substantial, exuding a powerful presence. The vehicle features split headlights equipped with Micro LED light sources, which can prevent glare for oncoming drivers and includes functions like lane line illumination, enhancing nighttime driving safety. At the front edge of the roof, there are three protruding parts: a LiDAR sensor in the middle and cameras on both sides, serving the intelligent driving system.
From the side view, the ET9 adopts a coupe-style fastback design. However, this car doesn't have the low-slung appearance typical of coupes. Its dimensions are 5325/2016/1620mm (length/width/height), with a wheelbase of 3250mm. The height of over 1.6 meters is uncommon among sedans, offering more spacious passenger room.
Looking at the rear, the car features the family-style through-type taillights. A silver trim at the bottom of the rear balances the car's substantial appearance. In addition to the radar at the front edge of the roof, the ET9 is also equipped with two LiDAR sensors at the rear for side and rear detection, forming a 360-degree detection capability without blind spots.
In terms of powertrain, the NIO ET9 uses a pure electric all-wheel-drive system. The front motor has a maximum power output of 180kW, while the rear motor reaches 340kW. The new car is equipped with self-developed 46105 cylindrical batteries with a capacity of 120kWh. It uses an all-domain 900V architecture, compatible with 500V-1000V charging stations. The peak charging power can reach 600kW, with a peak current of 772A. It can add 255km of range in just 5 minutes of charging, and battery swapping takes only 3 minutes.
