Milestone Achievement! BYD's Thailand Factory Completed, 8 Millionth New Energy Vehicle Rolls Off the Line
On July 4, BYD celebrated the completion of its Thailand factory in Rayong and the rollout of its 8 millionth new energy vehicle (NEV), marking a significant milestone in the company's global expansion. The event was attended by Thailand’s Minister of Industry, Pimpatra Wichaikul; China’s Ambassador to Thailand, Han Zhiqiang; and BYD's Chairman and President, Wang Chuanfu, among other distinguished guests.

Key Highlights of the Event:
Completion of BYD’s Thailand Factory:
1. The factory was constructed and became operational within just 16 months.
2. It has an annual production capacity of approximately 150,000 vehicles.
3. It features comprehensive manufacturing capabilities, including the four major vehicle production processes and a components factory.
Rollout of the 8 Millionth NEV:
1. BYD became the world's first automaker to reach the milestone of 8 million NEVs.
2. The Dolphin model was the vehicle to mark this milestone, showcased at the Thailand factory.
