CLTC, short for "China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle," is a set of testing standards tailored to Chinese road conditions and driving habits. It is primarily used to assess the driving range and energy consumption rate of pure electric passenger vehicles. The CLTC conditions include three different speed ranges: low-speed, medium-speed, and high-speed, aiming to more realistically simulate various scenarios in daily driving. The total duration of the CLTC cycle is 1800 seconds (30 minutes), covering a total distance of 14.48 kilometers, with a maximum speed of up to 114 kilometers per hour.
CLTC not only includes the China Passenger Car Driving Condition (CLTC-P) but also covers the China Light Commercial Vehicle Driving Condition (CLTC-C), encompassing M1, N1, and M2 vehicles with a maximum design gross weight of no more than 3500 kg. This standard aims to provide a more accurate evaluation of vehicle performance, helping consumers and the industry better understand the vehicle's performance in actual use.
